Every cut features the `ukulele, along with Hawaiian steel guitar, slack key, bass, and percussion. `Ukulele used include Dennis Lake's "Island Jazz," Mya-Moe's killer mahogany Resonator, Kei Lani "Lili`u," a vintage "Maybelle" banjo uke, a couple ukes made at the Aloha Music Camp --- even an electric Tele-style uke. Thanks to the miracles of modern recording, Mark played all the instruments.

The songs come from all over the world... or at least Bakersfield, Britain, the Bahamas, Brazil (or is it Portugal?) and Hawai`i. It's not just Whirled Music, it's a Uke-A-Rama!
